Installation of a new machine for the manufacture of special pallets

A new machine for the production of special pallets was commissioned at PalettenWerk in August. The state-of-the-art machine from the Spanish brand CAPE has three pallet nailing units and can reach a capacity of 3,000 pallets per shift. The rapid-changeover line allows for the efficient production of small batches of special pallets, made according to specific customer requirements. 

The investment in the machine enables the further development of one of PalettenWerk’s market advantages, which is ‘mass customisation’ – the ability to produce customised pallets while significantly reducing the cost per piece.
